Artwork Requirements:
Please email your PO and artwork to: contact@pecksgraphics.com. It is very helpful if you include the PO number in the subject line of your email.
Peck’s Graphics accepts electronic, print ready artwork. Any manipulation of your art may incur additional artwork charges. You will be notified of additional cost prior to the work being started.
Templates for our products can be found under the “template tab” at the very top of our website. If you cannot locate the template you require, please notify us and one of our staff will forward it to you.
Laser engraving:
All art for laser engraving must be in black and white. Please do not send art with halftones. Vector artwork is required for laser engraving orders. If you do not have vector artwork we can convert your artwork for you, however, standard artwork fees will apply. Please note that whatever is provided in black will be engraved on the product.
*Please Note: Natural wood products will engrave differently depending on wood grain. Some areas may engrave lighter/darker than others.
Sublimation printing:
Full color high-resolution artwork is accepted. There is no limit to the number of colors allowed. We can accept full color photographs, pictures and other such items, assuming artwork is of high quality. Vector artwork is still preferred but not required. For best results artwork should be at least 300 dpi.
File Types:
Peck’s Graphics prefers PDF, CDR, or EPS files with all text converted to curves or outlines. We do not recommend JPEG, BMP, or GIF files as they are usually of poor quality. PowerPoint, Publisher and Word document files are not acceptable artwork files. We can accept art designed in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw. Manipulation of art may incur additional charges.
Variable data:
If you have an order that needs personalized there is a $5.00(P) personalization or line change fee. You may send us one layout for the item and a digital spread sheet with the names or other variable data. We will apply the data and send you a proof to approve. Please list the font you wish to use. Please understand that we do not have every font ever made. If we do not have the font you need we will contact you with options. You may of course set up each file and send the print ready artwork, however, copy change fees will still apply.
Color Matching:
We cannot guarantee any color matches and we cannot prevent any color variances due to product textures, coatings, or batch variations from the manufacturer. Color variances may also occur due to different products having different white points, texture, and absorbency levels. Proofs do not guarantee color will match preview as it appears on your monitor due to variations in color output on different monitors. If specific colors are a concern, please address this concern.
"Exact" PMS Color Matching is not available. PMS “spot” colors simply cannot be accurately and consistently reproduced using CMYK printing. If a specific PMS color is requested in writing, we can perform our color matching services to achieve the closest possible color match. Once the closest match is achieved, a photo proof will be sent for approval before producing the entire order. Color matching services are $60/color.
Artwork Services:
We can help with your artwork needs, whether you need full artwork setup, need to have artwork vectorized or just need a layout made for an order. We will e-mail you the finished file for your use on future orders. For pricing, please email us the files you need help with, along with a description of what needs done and we will let you know the cost before proceeding. We retain all artwork for a minimum of 2 years.
Cancellations:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Customers are responsible for all costs incurred up to the time of cancellation. In some instances, this may include shipping costs that Peck’s Graphics incurred to obtain stock from other warehouses to fill your order. Additionally, a restocking fee of up to 30% may apply, which is dependent on the product(s) ordered and as mandated by our various product sources.
Claims:
Claims for damaged merchandise or shortages must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receipt of order. Please inspect or have your customer inspect their order upon arrival to avoid any possible conflict.
Disclaimer:
Peck’s Graphics cannot guarantee the exact color or shade of finished products between orders. Although it is rare, it is possible for an item to be of a slightly different color or shade from one order to the next. Some of the manufactures we use produce their products at more than one factory; using different equipment, materials and personnel. For these reasons and factors, there might be minor variances in the appearance of our products from order to order.
Drop Shipment:
There is no additional charge for drop shipments. We ship all drop shipment orders, blind with no catalog inserts or other materials. Nothing in the shipment will list Peck’s Graphics.
Split Shipment:
There is a $5.00 (Z) charge per location.
Less Than Minimums:
You can order less than the minimum, however a 50% up-charge on the first quantity pricing will apply.
Patents, Copyrights, and Trademarks:
Orders produced to customer’s specifications require the purchaser to assume all liability resulting from actions or demands brought against us for any infringements.
Payment Terms:
Net 15 terms are available with approved credit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We do not accept debit cards, Nigerian money transfers or pre-paid cash cards. Invoices paid with Credit Card will incur a 3% convenience fee. Past Due Invoices are Subject to a Late Payment Fee of $20.00 and/or a 1.5% Finance Charge of the Total Balance Due for Each Month an Invoice is Past Due.
Paper Proofs:
Every order will include up to two PDF/paper proofs at no charge. Additional proofs due to artwork changes/corrections will be billed at $10.00 (Z) each. Please note that these fees do not include any additional artwork charges if needed. Cancelled orders do no qualify for free proofs. Artwork fees will apply.
Quotes:
Requests for quotes should be submitted at least 24 business hours before quote is needed. Here at Peck's Graphics we try to respond to quote request within 12-24 business hours after they are submitted.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Pricing:
All prices are subject to change without notice; however, here at Peck’s Graphics, we will do our best to hold pricing and maintain accurate web site information.
Production Time:
Standard production time on most items is 7-10 business days after proof approval, depending on the item and its availability. Rush Services are available if needed, unless otherwise stated. They are as follows: $25 Minimum for all Rush Orders. Same Day Rush Service (check for availability) = 100% Rush. Next Day Rush Service = 50% Rush. 2 Day Rush Service = 40% Rush. 3 Day Rush Service = 30% Rush. 4 Day Rush Service = 20%. 5-9 Day Rush Service = 10%.
Returns:
Merchandise cannot be returned without approval. No merchandise returns will be accepted more than 30 days from the date of receipt. All merchandise must be returned in their original packaging with all instructions and all appropriate materials included. Returned blank items will incur a 30% restocking fee. Decorated items are not returnable unless there is defect in the item or decoration.
Right to Promotion:
Peck’s Graphics reserves the right to use all supplied artwork in our displays and advertising unless we are notified in writing at the time the order is placed.
Samples:
All samples are billed at End Quantity Pricing (EQP). All next day air sample requests must be received no later than 2:30 pm EST on the day of the shipment (call to check for availability). Please provide UPS number for all shipments. We will not ship via DHL. Blank samples may be returned within 30 days of receipt for credit on most items. The customer is still responsible for all freight costs.
Set-Up Charges:
All artwork is kept for at least 2 years. Any changes to artwork will incur a new set-up charge. A set-up charge for most orders is $50.00 (V) and a repeat set-up is $25.00(V). A name badge set-up charge is $25.00 (V) and a repeat name badge set-up charge $12.50(V).
Spec Samples:
The charge for spec samples is the cost of the item (EQP) and the set-up charge. If the order is approved, the set-up charge will not have to be paid again.
Virtual Mock-Ups:
Requests for Virtual Mock-Ups are free as long as high quality vector artwork is supplied 24 hours before virtual mock-up is needed. Only one revision of a virtual mock-up is allowed, following our proofing standards. If no high quality vector artwork is supplied, then our artwork fee of $50/hour will apply and be charged. You will be notified if artwork is not usable before we proceed with virtual mock-up and charges. Charges will not be applied without notification and approval to proceed.
